Paris results

Tonights second race at Paris was hit by the threat of inclement weather. Showers in the area between 6.30 and 7.30 just wetted the track surface but made for a gaters track. Only 14 riders took part. Nice to see Mark Engle make the trip up from his Michegan home for the first time this season. D one had 6 riders and was again Aarron Hesmers night with Joe Heye and Nick Fafard second and third. D 2 was Corrine Franic's!! she was the winner of the final with Doug Beaumont second and Marc Engle a faller. D 3 was a familiar story with Micheal Small being the best of the rest and was the only rider able to take his place in the D 3 final. New rider Peter Fornel was a faller in his first ride in d 3 of the night. A damaged shoulder stopped him taking part in the rest of the nights D 3 races. Tonight is the Welland season opener with practice at 5.30 and racing set to start, prompt, at 7.00. forecast is for 30% p.o.p and a chance of a thunderstorm but no rain in the area since Thursday. Good luck to all for this race. Pics and a report on sunday.
