Brookes cinched the "most improved rider" for 2005, missed 3 races, Young Jessie Diem would have easily made the top 5 but missed 3 races. Tom Sephton "handed" the championship to Parsons when he retired from Speedway after 3 races at Action Park. Defeated once in the second half of the season by Adam Mittl, Jeremy beat Californian Sean McConnell fair and square to win the U.S. Open round, and the track championship. Dave Richards
