Tigers home to Somerset Sunday 25th.

The official start of the speedway season gets underway on Sunday when Mildenhall Fen Tigers open their Premier Trophy campaign by hosting Somerset Rebels at their West Row-based track.
The contest will see a host of riders competing against their former club, including Mildenhall team manager Laurence Rogers, who was formerly the team boss and promoter at Somerset."We will be looking to put one over them and this is one I really want to win," said Rogers. Fen Tigers' Jason King, Mario Jirout and Jamie Smith used to compete for the West Country outfit and the latter rider cannot wait to compete against his old team. "This is one I am definitely looking forward to. I want to show them what they have missed out on and help the Fen Tigers to victory," said Smith. Former Fen Tigers, Jordan Frampton and Ritchie Hawkins, return to West Row in Somerset colours, adding extra spice to the opening meeting. Kyle Legault will be looking to show his new fans the real side of himself following his poor season start. The pre-race parade is due to start at 4.15pm and the race action at 4.30pm.
