Jeff Orosz takes the final final!!

"jumpin" Jeff Orosz kept his head and went on to take the season finale, final at Welland. On a track that took much work to make raceable, the Port Colborne native looked in complete control on his way to another win in his career. The only hic-cup was a "jump" start in his heat as the starting gate had been demolished in an earlier 250 junior race. This horrific accident sent Jesse Phipps to hospital with a suspected broken leg and wrist. The 30 minute delay added to the track prep delay and caused the main race programme to start at 7.5o. Racing was over by 10.30 though and much of the large crowd stayed to , first, enjoy great fireworks and then a live band in the beer garden. Final placings were 1. Jeff Orosz. 2. Rob Dixon. 3. Aarron Hesmer. 4. Drew kehoe. 5. John Kehoe. (fell) . Division 2 was 1. John Bennett. 2. Tim Murray. 3. Phil Small.
