Great night at Paris!!

With a smaller than anticipated rider turnout, Duncan Luke once again produced a cracker program for a larger than normal crowd at Paris Speedway. Many riders came out on a beautiful night to give their all and it was great to see a few have a superb night personally.Young 14 year old Michael Small, once again dominated the Division 3 racing, despite some great riding from "Tiger" Tom Marriott who was going so fast in one race his goggles flew off! Michael again improved his points lead by winning the main D3 main event. Peter Fornal every week is getting better and better in his pace and control, looking very smooth, he is gaining slowly and even produced some super passing moves on another youngster Ryan Broda. Ryan's bike definitely helped keep the track clear of mosquitos with the smoke from his bike last night! LOL! But they all did a great job and congratulations to Michael Small for another unbeaten night of racing!Division 2 saw an aggressive Corinne Franic desperate to get her points back from arch enemy Doug Beaumont. Again this week, they produced some great duels and if you add Mark Priebe, our good friend Chris Houtby and Bart Moskala into the frame, then you had a nice blend of good talent all out to prove their own skill. The Final D2 event was great, Corinne led for the first lap, but Doug ran round her on turn 3-4 and came off ahead, which he increased and held to the end. These riders really have put some great races together this year! Nice Job everyone!Division 1 saw many faces who had come to win. Points leader Aaron Hesmer once again won the night, but not without a fight! Cousin Gary Hesmer proved to be a thorn in his side this night, Gary every race kept Aaron tight until he could get away, Nick Fafard and Joe Heye also gave Aaron a real run for his money. Returning rider to Paris, Rob Dixon also rode very well and enjoyed a welcomed return with a Consi Final win ahead of the two great rivals, John Perry and Phil Small. These two every race they compete in, always draw a gasp from the crowd in anticipation of what is too come! The track was superb and thanks to both Dave Havill and Alex Wilson, the surface was smooth and gave the riders some great grip.Another successful night of racing and with just 3 more to go at Paris, we look forward to a great weekend next week.Look out right here at this website for more info!Great night of speedway, thank you to everyone involved!
