Top score for Kyle At Kings Lynn!!
SHEFFIELD Pirtek Tigers will be looking to restore some pride when they face King's Lynn in the Premier Trophy Final second leg at Owlerton on Thursday (7.45pm). Reg Wilson's men crashed to a sad 63-32 first leg defeat at the Norfolk Arena - just 24-hours after losing skipper Andre Compton with a broken collarbone sustained in a Swedish League meeting. Tigers failed to recover from a nightmare start when they found themselves 10-points down after just four races ... and it could have been worse. Kevin Doolan was winning the first race comfortably when he pulled up with mechanical problems and this allowed Ben Wilson and Ricky Ashworth a share of the result. But when reserves Chris Mills and John Oliver outpaced Paul Cooper and Benji Compton, who fell, in the second race, there was no looking back for the Norfolk side. Kyle Legault was nominated for double points in the next outing and needed a re-run after Trevor Harding, the former Sheffield rider, fell and partner Oliver couldn't avoid him. Harding was excluded. Legault went on to win the race for six-points with Cooper third and Sheffield enjoyed some brief respite with a 7-2 win. Topinka and Batchelor teamed up to have the last word for Lynn in heat 15 on a night to forget for Sheffield who must now focus on restoring some pride with a win on the night tonight. KING'S LYNN: Tomas Topinks 14+1, Troy Batchelor 12+3, Daniel Nermark 9, Chris Mills 8, John Oliver 7+3, Kevin Doolan 7, Trevor Harding 6+2. TIGERS: Kyle Legault 10, Emiliano Sanchez 7+1, Jason Lyons 7, Ben Wilson 4, Ricky Ashworth 2+1, Paul Cooper 2, Benji Compton 0. JASON LYONS will deputise for Andre Compton again in the Owlerton
