Devastating news from Ipswich...

Former World Champion, Mark Loram, who was involved in a horrific crash at Foxhall Stadium during the match with Reading Bulldogs last Thursday evening, is currently in hospital in Norwich recovering from his injuries.
He suffered a fracture to his left leg above the knee and also a fracture to his left arm. Mark underwent a lengthy operation on Thursday night to pin his leg and the surgeon performing the operation was happy with the outcome. Mark is in reasonable spirits but extremely frustrated to be injured so soon after completing his preparations prior to the start of the season.The length of the recuperation period he will require is at present uncertain and further information on this will be issued in a week or two when more is known.
