Paris win for Arron Hesmer
The Division 1 riders faced a last minute re-organization, with the very late arrival of Aaron DeVeau. Aaron had some good heats before his chain unfortunately snapped and caused him to sit out the rest of the night!
Jeff Orosz, Joe Heye, Gary Hesmer, Aaron Hesmer all had some tight and bumpy rides. Jeff's attitude of never die, is always great to watch and his Paris track knowledge is getting him really into a good groove!
Gary Hesmer was really pumped this night and he had a really bad heat that caused his bike to cut out on his 2nd lap, to get his points he pushed the bike for 2 laps, but these were unfortunately taken away after another rider assisted his efforts! Gary did however make up for his error, and won the consi final in style. His lap of honor was one of the best laps that he has done around Paris, Well done Gary!
The final heat of the night saw Aaron Hesmer once again victorious, but only after Joe Heye kept him behind him for 2 laps, Aaron powered past Joe and was pulling away when Joe locked up on the 3/4 bend and did a vertical 360 degree circle running with the bike before falling down. Joe kept the engine going and he got onboard to Finish his race. But the night belonged to Aaron Hesmer who ceremoniously celebrated with a tradition champagne spray!
Our thanks go out to all our volunteers who did a great job tonight, and to Chris Howes who returned to the microphone again after his well earned vacation. Congratulations to everyone for a night to remember and we look forward to next weeks event!
