Latest news on Bob Richards

Hey Guys,We have received several e-mails in the last few days requesting an update on Bobby so I thought I would take a few moments to do so. Bobby is in Colorado Springs and was released today to go home to his sister's house. After speaking with him 3 times this week, there is no doubt in my mind that Bobby will be making his own decisions within the next 2-3 weeks if not sooner. He asked Billy and I not to come this weekend because he knew he was going to be leaving the facility today but does know when he is ready for us he is to call us and we will be there as soon as we can get there. If he should change his mind, of course, we will then move on with our lives and consider a fine job well done, yes, by the x. He is reading, writing, eating, walking, exercising and appears to have all the information in his head, however, he is working deligently to put his life puzzle back together and is doing a remarkable job. He told me he may not race anymore, but that he wants to and he thinks he should just ride with his son. I told him that if he wants to race we will just stay in Texas because this was a big one and I didn't think I could handle it ever again. He then said he will probably just ride with his son and I told him I could handle that one without a problem so we will see how the days go by. If I didn't Love this man, I would not have spent the time and money to keep him Alive for our son to have his Daddy. I can take that one guys to my grave. I am blessed to have had the ability and strength to keep him here in yes, the Speedway World. Billy recently received an early Christmas present from a gentlmen in Indiana and yes, it was the coolest SPEEDWAY jacket made in Scotland, his Dads colors together with a Speedway bike model with a number 1 on it. Boy, does he think he is the coolest and I just shake my head smiling. Hopefully, we can share this together with his Father one day very soon. GOD BLESS YOU & YOURS Rhonda L. Richards on behalf of "Bouncin" Billy and Bobby Richards. KEEP SPEEDWAY ALIVE - don't race it anymore Bobby, just ride....Balls to the Walls days need to be over, there not Big Brass ones anymore, your second chance is Big Gold ones so leave it while on top of your game. WE LOVE YOU R & B
